Engine Catalyst Converter Cleaner

A catalytic cleaner (also called catalytic converter cleaner) is a fuel additive that helps clean carbon deposits from your fuel system, oxygen sensors, and catalytic converter so the exhaust system works more efficiently. Think of it like sending a tiny cleaning crew through your engine and exhaust pipes. 

How to Use a Catalytic Converter Cleaner

1. Start with a low fuel level
   
• Most cleaners work best when your tank is about ¼ full or less.
2. Pour the cleaner into the fuel tank
   
• Open the fuel cap and pour the entire bottle of the cleaner into the tank.
3. Fill the tank with fuel
   
• After adding the cleaner, fill the tank with petrol (gasoline).
• This mixes the cleaner evenly with the fuel.
4. Drive the car
   
• Drive normally for 15–30 minutes, preferably at highway speed.
• The heat from driving helps burn off carbon buildup in the catalytic converter.
5. Run the tank down
   
• Use the fuel normally until the tank is nearly empty before adding more fuel.

How Often to Use It

• Usually every 4,000–5,000 km or every 3 months if you drive frequently.
